UMBC: A Giving Community

Every year, UMBC’s staff and faculty take part in the Maryland Charity Campaign, a program created by the state of Maryland to encourage philanthropy among its employees in support of the organizations they care about.

And not surprisingly, UMBC has again shown itself to be a leader in giving, surpassing its participation goal of 1,000 donors and making a difference for charities in need all over the state of Maryland.

Read the full report on UMBC’s Maryland Charity success in this note from campus co-chairs John Jeffries, Dean, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Nancy Young, Vice-President, Student Affairs.

Congratulations, UMBC!
