Jordan, Class of 2013
Hometown: Bowie, MD
Major: Computer Engineering & Mathematics

Why did you pick UMBC?
I came to UMBC because of the opportunities to get involved in on-campus research, and the Meyerhoff Scholars Program.

What are your plans for after graduation?
After graduation, I plan to pursue a Ph.D. in bioelectronics or bioengineering.

What activities do you enjoy in your spare time?
Around campus, I’m a Peer Advisor, and I am involved with the National Society of Black Engineers.

What do you like best about being a student caller? 
The best thing about working for UMBC’s Phonathon is having conversations with alumni and hearing about how UMBC has changed over the years.
